Ministry of Public Works Office Raided for 6 Hours, Documents and Electronic Devices Seized
The Head of the Legal Information Section (Kapuspenkum) of the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati), Dapot Dariarma, stated that several documents and electronic devices were seized from the Ministry of Public Works (PU) office in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Thursday (9/4/2026). The investigative team from the Special Criminal Division of the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office seized the items following a six-hour search. “The secured items will undergo further examination and in-depth investigation,” Dapot said in a written statement on Thursday evening. This was carried out in connection with the investigation into alleged criminal acts of corruption involving several items from the 2023-2024 fiscal years. The search was conducted based on investigation warrant number PRINT-09/M.1/Fd.1/04/2026 dated 9 April 2026. According to the evidence handover document obtained by Kompas.com, the items handed over to the Special Criminal investigators of the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office consisted of one bundle of printed investigative audit reports related to alleged violations and/or misuse of authority in procurement through e-purchasing and/or direct procurement for the 2023–2024 fiscal years at the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Cipta Karya. The Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office investigators arrived at the Ministry of Public Works around 2:00 PM WIB, then proceeded with the search at 2:30 PM WIB. Subsequently, the investigators left the area at 8:20 PM WIB, carrying two suitcases, one white and one grey. The two suitcases were then placed into a white Honda CR-V vehicle owned by the investigators, which subsequently left the Ministry of Public Works complex.
