Ministry of Public Works Inaugurates 7 Echelon I Officials, Minister Dody Emphasises Civil Servant Integrity

In his speech, Dody conveyed that organisational strengthening is not merely about position arrangements but is part of efforts to build statecraft, namely the skills in managing state policies and ensuring that every programme runs effectively and is truly felt by the public. “The Ministry of Public Works is expected to continue delivering works that benefit society, not only in terms of process but also results that can be felt tangibly,” Dody stated in his remarks on Friday (1/5/2026). He also emphasised President Prabowo’s message that one of the three foundations of Statecraft lies in a solid and clean civil service apparatus (ASN). Civil servants are demanded not only to be competent but also to have integrity, be solid, and consistently maintain public trust. “The Ministry of Public Works needs to continue promoting improvements in governance and strengthening the integrity of civil servants consistently. These efforts are expected to create a professional work environment and encourage the emergence of talents that contribute positively,” he said. According to him, professionalism and integrity must go hand in hand, thereby creating a healthy, adaptive work environment oriented towards results. Closing his speech, Dody conveyed congratulations to the newly inaugurated officials. “I extend my congratulations on your duties. May this trust be carried out to the best of your abilities. May Allah SWT always provide guidance and strength in every step we take,” Dody concluded. The seven inaugurated officials consist of the Secretary General, Director General, Head of Agency, and Minister’s Special Staff, who are expected to strengthen the implementation of strategic tasks within the Ministry of Public Works. The inaugurated officials are: 1. Apri Artoto as Secretary General 2. Arnold Aristoteles Paplapna Ritiauw as Director General of Water Resources 3. Bisma Staniarto as Head of the Human Resource Development Agency 4. Adenan Rasyid as Head of the Regional Infrastructure Development Agency 5. Rachman Arief Dienaputra as Minister’s Special Staff for Social Culture and Community Role 6. Indro Pantja Pramodo as Minister’s Special Staff for Economy and Investment 7. Pantja Dharma Oetojo as Minister’s Special Staff for Development Integration
