Ministry of PAN-RB Concludes First Wave of Civil Servant Reserve Component Training at Halim Air Base
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPAN-RB) concluded the first wave of basic military training (latsarmil) for 1,758 personnel of the Civil Servant (ASN) Reserve Component on Friday. The closing ceremony was held at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, East Jakarta, attended by officials from KemenPAN-RB and the Ministry of Defence (Kemhan).
“Today, Friday, 5 June 2026, at 08:30 Western Indonesia Time, I officially declare the first wave of 2026 Basic Military Training for the Reserve Component of Ministries and Agencies closed,” stated the Minister of PAN-RB, Rini Widyantini, while serving as the inspector of the training ceremony.
According to the Minister, the military education is designed to shape the personality and mental fortitude of civil servants, fostering greater discipline and a high sense of patriotism. Rini noted that these qualities will be highly beneficial for civil servants when performing their duties within their respective agencies.
Rini expressed hope that upon completing their reserve component training, civil servants will become increasingly motivated in carrying out state duties and providing public services. Following the completion of their military education, the civil servant reserve personnel will return to their respective agencies to resume their official duties.
