Ministry of Manpower to open MagangHub 2026 Phase 2 registration in September
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) will open registration for participants of the 2026 National Internship Programme (MagangHub) Phase (Batch) 2 Year 2026 on 3–8 September 2026.
“We want this internship programme to be an opportunity for participants to gain work experience and learning that is relevant to their competencies, not merely to take part in a programme,” said Manpower Minister Yassierli in his statement in Jakarta on Thursday.
He also invited prospective participants to begin preparing themselves by examining the internship fields they are interested in before the registration period opens.
According to Yassierli, early preparation is important so that prospective participants can choose internship fields that match their interests and competencies.
He assessed that the programme needs to provide experience that supports the development of participants’ competencies.
“Therefore, prospective participants need to prepare themselves and examine the most suitable opportunities,” said Yassierli.
Before participant registration opens, internship provider partners consisting of companies and ministries/institutions will register internship opportunities on 21–31 August 2026.
These opportunities will then be verified and published by the Ministry of Manpower on 1–3 September 2026.
The series of the 2026 National Internship Programme or Batch II Phase 2 begins with programme socialisation on 17–20 August 2026.
After internship information is available, prospective participants can examine the fields and requirements before registering on 3–8 September 2026.
Participants who have registered will then undergo the recruitment and nomination process by provider partners on 9–15 September 2026.
The Ministry of Manpower will then conduct selection and determine participants on 16–18 September 2026, with selection results scheduled to be announced on 18 September 2026. Participants who are declared successful will begin the internship programme on 21 September 2026.
Manpower Minister Yassierli emphasised that the quality of internship implementation is also an important part of ensuring the programme provides real benefits for participants.
Therefore, provider partners are expected to ensure that the learning process at the internship site runs well.
“Internship provider partners need to ensure that participants receive relevant learning opportunities and work experience during the internship. In this way, the programme can provide real benefits for the development of participants’ competencies,” said Yassierli.
