Ministry of Manpower Reopens Free OHS Training for 2,100 Participants
The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has reopened the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Training and Certification Programme for General Experts, Batch 2, with a quota of 2,100 participants from across Indonesia. Registration opens from Monday (6/4/2026) to Sunday (12/4/2026).
The programme is launched in response to the increasing demand from companies for K3 experts. Amid risks of workplace accidents and compliance requirements, K3 competencies are deemed increasingly crucial for maintaining productivity.
Minister of Manpower Yassierli stated that the opening of the second batch is a step to broaden access for workers and the public to the K3 competencies needed in the workforce.
“Through this programme, the government provides the widest possible opportunities for workers and the public to become competent K3 experts, enabling them to contribute to creating safe, healthy, and productive workplaces,” he said in a press release received by Kompas.com on Sunday (5/4/2026).
“We want more and more workers to have K3 competencies. The stronger those competencies, the greater the chances of creating safe, healthy, and productive workplaces,” he added.
Like the first batch, the programme is free for training costs. However, participants must still pay a Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) fee of Rp 420,000 in accordance with Government Regulation Number 41 of 2023.
This scheme allows workers to enhance their competencies without being burdened by training fees. On the other hand, companies are also benefited as the need for human resources (HR) who understand occupational safety and health continues to rise.
To participate in the K3 Training Programme, Kemnaker sets a minimum requirement of a D3 graduate.
Prospective participants must also attach several documents, namely a scan of the original diploma (PDF), scan of ID card (PDF), photo with red background (JPG), scan of the original Participant Readiness Statement Letter signed on stamp duty (PDF), curriculum vitae (PDF), and scan of the original Health Certificate (PDF).
The implementation of the training and certification is scheduled from Monday (27/4/2026) to Wednesday (13/5/2026). Kemnaker urges workers who meet the requirements to register immediately via the following link: https://s-link.kemnaker.go.id/AK3UGRATISBATCH2.
