The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) is opening registration for competency certification for participants of the National University Internship Phase 2 from 8–19 June 2026 via the MagangHub platform. This programme, conducted in partnership with the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP), offers participants the opportunity to obtain competency certificates recognised by the professional world.

Darmawansyah, Director General of Vocational Training and Productivity Development (Binalavotas) at the Ministry of Manpower, stated in Jakarta on Monday that competency certification is a vital instrument to ensure that the knowledge, skills, and work attitudes possessed by participants meet the standards required by the workforce. “Through competency certification, participants receive official recognition of the abilities they have developed during the MagangHub programme. These certificates serve as proof that their competencies meet industry requirements,” said Darmawansyah.

He noted that the current labour market demands workers who possess not only academic diplomas but also measurable competencies aligned with industrial needs. Consequently, these certificates can serve as added value, increasing the confidence of businesses and industries in the capabilities of prospective employees.

To participate in the certification, applicants must first complete the required documentation, including photographs, proof of basic requirements, internship portfolios, and other supporting documents where available. Following this, participants can select a Professional Certification Body (LSP), a certification scheme, a Competency Test Site (TUK), and an assessment schedule. Submitted registrations will undergo a validation process before participants undergo competency assessments, which are scheduled to take place from 22 June to 22 July 2026.

Participants declared competent will receive certificates issued by the LSP according to their chosen certification scheme. These certificates can be downloaded electronically through an integrated system no later than 10 days after the certification decision is finalised. Further information regarding the competency certification for National Internship Phase 2 participants can be accessed via the official Ministry of Manpower MagangHub platform at https://maganghub.kemnaker.go.id.
