The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has opened registration for 24 vocational courses designed to meet industry and workforce demands as part of the Phase 2 National Vocational Training Programme. Minister of Manpower Yassierli stated that this aligns with the programme’s objective, a strategic step to accelerate workforce readiness through practical-based learning. “Vocational training provides a fast track for the public to become job-ready. Participants gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills needed in the field within a relatively short timeframe,” he said in a statement on Sunday. Available courses include Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Manufacturing, Electronics, Welding, Electrical Work, Automotive, Refrigeration, Construction, Creative Industries, Fashion Technology, Business and Management, Beauty Therapy, and Languages. Minister Yassierli added that Phase 2 of the National Vocational Training Programme also aims to expand equitable access to training across all regions of Indonesia. Registration remains open until 9 June 2026. To ensure graduate quality, each training programme is supported by adequate facilities and led by qualified instructors in their respective fields. Members of the public can register via the official Skillhub Kemnaker website (skillhub.kemnaker.go.id) by creating an account, completing their biodata, and following the assessment steps outlined on the site.
