According to her, the submission of the certificate marks the legal recognition of the logo of the regional specialty product by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, as well as being part of a series of anniversary celebrations filled with the recitation of the Al-Quran, breaking the Indonesian Museum of Records (MURI) record for drinking 45,500 glasses of Dawet Ayu, and a joint breaking of the fast.
The Copyright Certificate for the Dawet Ayu Logo was handed over directly by Heni to representatives of Dawet Ayu activists accompanied by the Regent of Banjarnegara, Amalia Desiana, and the Deputy Regent of Banjarnegara, Wakhid Jumali.
The submission of the certificate was also attended by the Head of the Intellectual Property Services Division of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Central Java, Agustinus Yosi Setyawan, and his staff.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Banjarnegara, Amalia Desiana, appreciated the support of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights for the legality of the logo because it is considered to provide added value for local business actors.
“I, on behalf of Banjarnegara Regency, would like to express my highest appreciation to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights for the legality of the Dawet Ayu Banjarnegara logo. This provides its own economic value for the Dawet Ayu vendors in Banjarnegara,” she said.
She said that Dawet Ayu has its own uniqueness, starting from the use of aren flour to aren sugar as the main ingredients.
“Dawet Ayu has its own uniqueness, the flour used to make the dawet is made from aren, the sugar is also from aren. Throughout Indonesia, Dawet Ayu vendors are definitely from Banjarnegara,” she said.
On this occasion, a certificate from MURI was also awarded for breaking the record of drinking 45,500 glasses of Dawet Ayu Banjarnegara.
