The primary goal is to expand market share for domestic products while creating significant multiplier effects to maintain national economic stability. Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) is providing facilitations for small and medium-sized industry players (IKM) to obtain Domestic Component Level (TKDN) certification to broaden market access, particularly in government goods and services procurement. Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita stated in Jakarta on Thursday that this effort is implemented through a self-declaration TKDN certification submission facility that can be accessed free of charge. This policy forms part of the government’s strategy to strengthen the position of domestic products in the local market while promoting national industry growth. According to him, the Domestic Product Usage Enhancement Policy (P3DN) is a strategic step to bolster domestic market control by local producers. The Minister added that the government’s support for domestic products, especially IKM production outputs, is reflected in Presidential Instruction No. 2 of 2022, which mandates planning, allocation, and realisation of 40 percent of the government goods/services expenditure budget for using local SME or IKM products. “Through this policy, the government is also accelerating the listing of domestic products and SME products, including IKM and cooperatives, on the national, sectoral, and local e-catalogues. Thus, the participation of IKM and SMEs in supplying government goods and services is expected to increase further,” he explained. Director General of Small, Medium, and Various Industries (IKMA) Reni Yanita stated that Kemenperin continues to provide assistance to small industry players in the TKDN self-declaration certification submission process. This facilitation is reinforced by the issuance of Minister of Industry Regulation No. 35 of 2025, effective from 11 December 2025. As an implementation of the policy, Kemenperin held a hybrid Socialisation and Assistance for TKDN Certification for small industry players at Politeknik AKA Bogor on 20 April 2026. The event was attended by 65 in-person participants consisting of small industry players and industry mentoring officials from Bogor City and Regency. “It is hoped that this policy will continue to provide positive impacts on local economic growth, job creation, and improved community welfare,” Reni remarked. To obtain self-declaration TKDN certification, business players must be registered in the National Industry Information System (SIINas) and validated as small industries in accordance with the provisions stipulated in Director General of IKMA Regulation No. 261 of 2025.
