The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) is optimistic that Indonesia’s participation as the Partner Country in INNOPROM 2026 will boost investment and the competitiveness of the national industry. “The momentum of Indonesia’s participation as the Partner Country at INNOPROM 2026 must be utilised optimally to expand investment, strengthen industrial partnerships, and drive technology transfers that directly impact the enhancement of national industrial competitiveness,” said Deputy Minister of Industry (Wamenperin) Faisol Riza, as confirmed in an official statement in Jakarta on Monday. According to him, the event, scheduled to take place in Russia from 6 to 9 July 2026, presents a strategic opportunity to broaden investments, reinforce industrial partnerships, and promote technology transfers to improve national industrial competitiveness. He added that strengthening this cooperation was also discussed in a bilateral meeting between himself and Russia’s Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Alexey Vladimirovich Gruzdev, as part of the Indonesia-Russia Business and Investment Forum 2026 in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on 28 April. “Indonesia views Russia as a long-term strategic partner in national industrial development. We want to ensure that all potential cooperation discussed does not stop at the level of commitments but is quickly transformed into concrete steps that benefit both countries,” Faisol stated.
