JAKARTA - The Ministry of Immigration and Corrections (Kemenimipas) has recorded 774 cases of disciplinary violations by Civil Servants (ASN) during the leadership of Minister of Immigration and Corrections Agus Andrianto.

The breakdown includes 212 minor disciplinary sanctions; 341 moderate disciplinary sanctions; 159 severe disciplinary sanctions; and 62 cases pending sanction imposition.

“The employees with the highest number of disciplinary violations are those on the front lines, tasked with public services and security, who should be the foremost guardians of public trust,” said Inspector General (Irjen) of the Ministry of Imipas Yan Sultra, at the Ministry’s office in Jakarta on Wednesday (29/4/2026).

Yan stated that disciplinary sanctions have also been imposed on structural officials from Echelon IV to Regional Office Heads.

“A total of 71 employees have been dismissed due to serious violations, including cases such as unauthorised absences, criminal acts, and breaches of marriage and adultery regulations,” he said.

Yan added that as a developmental measure, the ministry has conducted mental development programmes for 365 employees on Nusakambangan Island.

He explained that this development aims to improve discipline, strengthen integrity, enhance performance, and encourage behavioural change.

In addition to enforcement, Kemenimipas prioritises preventive measures through human resource strengthening via training and development, implementation of the Government Internal Control System (SPIP) and risk management, employee profiling, and an early warning system (LHKPN/monitoring unusual work behaviour and lifestyles).

Yan urged the public to actively participate in oversight through three complaint channels: the National Public Service Complaint Management System (SP4N) Lapor (managed by the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform); PANTAU IMIPAS (managed by the Inspectorate, contactable via WhatsApp 085220700202 or in person at the PANTAU IMIPAS Complaint Service Unit); and the Whistle Blowing System (WBS) via the website: www.wbs.kemenimipas.go.id.

“Kemenimipas emphasises that there is no tolerance for violations and no protection for violators. Discipline enforcement is carried out transparently, objectively, and without discrimination,” he stated.
