Ministry of Home Affairs Awards Provinces from Jakarta to South Kalimantan

The Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) has awarded a number of regional heads in recognition of their scores in the regional governance evaluation report. DKI Jakarta Provincial Government achieved the highest score of 3.6762. Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto personally presented certificates and award plaques to several regional heads who obtained the highest scores. The award presentation took place during Kemendagri’s commemoration of the 30th Regional Autonomy Day at the Kemendagri Field, Jakarta. “The Ministry of Home Affairs continues to work together with regional heads to ensure that various aspects are evaluated and refined, with our benchmark being the numbers,” explained Bima Arya at the location on Monday (27/4/2026). “Today, there are 29 regional heads who have recorded the highest numbers in the regional government performance evaluation report. The numbers are very good there, and this will certainly motivate others,” he added. For the provincial level, DKI Jakarta received the award along with four other provinces, namely West Java (Jabar), Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), East Java (Jatim), and South Kalimantan (Kalsel).
