Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) states that the letter from the Secretary of the Directorate General of Advanced Health No. KP.01.01/D.I/2611/2026 Regarding the Transition of Non-ASN Status to CPNS is a notification letter, not a letter for the process of appointment as a Candidate for Civil Servant (CPNS). “The purpose of this letter is that we want to collect data on our health personnel in hospitals under the Ministry of Health who have not yet become CPNS. So it is only in the form of data collection, not an appointment as CPNS,” said the Director General of Advanced Health of the Ministry of Health, Azhar Jaya, in Jakarta on Thursday. Azhar also emphasised that all civil servant (PNS) appointments must certainly follow the existing regulations issued by the authorised institutions, namely the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) and the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB). Previously, the letter went viral on various social media platforms. “In follow-up to the President’s priority programme on the transition of non-ASN employee status to CPNS for medical and health personnel in the Ministry of Health environment, we hereby request that you immediately submit a list of names of non-ASN employees, namely medical and health personnel with contract or partner status,” the letter states. In addition, the letter mentions that specifically for health personnel (nakes), they can be proposed if they have been contracted for a minimum of six months as of 1 April 2026. The proposed list should be submitted via the link s.kemkes.go.id/UsulAlihStatusCPNSKeslan with a deadline on Friday, 3 April 2026 at 12:00 WIB.
