Bandar Lampung (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj) in Lampung has stated that the first flight group (kloter) for Hajj from this province will depart on 25 April. “For Lampung’s first Hajj kloter or JKG 7, prospective Hajj pilgrims (CJH) will enter the Hajj dormitory on 25 April,” said the Head of the Kemenhaj Lampung Office, Ansori F Citra, in Bandar Lampung on Thursday. He explained that the first kloter for Lampung originates from Bandar Lampung City with 445 people, and they will be welcomed through the Islamic Center gate. “So all CJH will enter the Hajj dormitory from the gate at the Islamic Center. Their suitcases or carry-on bags will then be handed over to officers to be taken to their accommodation,” he said. Subsequently, he continued, the CJH will be placed in the dormitory hall for final checks before departing to the Holy Land. “The CJH will then be checked by the Health Quarantine Office; if declared healthy, they will move to other tables in the hall, where there is living cost allocation, passport handover, domestic and international tickets—all are there,” he said. After that, he added, they will be escorted to their accommodation at the Hajj Dormitory, and in the morning, the CJH will be farewelled by the Lampung Provincial Government. “After the farewell, the CJH will be directed to X-ray, then around 11:00 they will depart to Radin Inten II Airport heading to Soekarno-Hatta Airport to be flown to Saudi Arabia,” he said. Lampung’s Hajj quota this year totals 5,827 people divided into 14 flight groups (kloter).
