Makkah - The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has provided the latest update on the organisation of the 1447 H/2026 M Hajj pilgrimage following the conclusion of the peak phase, Armuzna.

Ministry of Hajj and Umrah spokesperson Hasan Afandi stated that all peak Hajj rituals, including standing at Arafah, overnight stays at Muzdalifah and Mina, and stoning of the pillars during the Tasyrik days, proceeded smoothly, safely, orderly, and under control.

“Alhamdulillah, all peak Hajj rituals have been carried out successfully. As of 30 May 2026 at 15:00 Saudi Arabia time, the Mina area has been declared clear of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims. All processes of moving pilgrims from Mina to hotels in Makkah were completed safely, orderly, and under control,” Hasan said in Makkah, according to the release received on Sunday (31 May 2026).

He added that the completion of the Mina phase is a key indicator of the smooth operational management of Indonesia’s Hajj during the peak period.

“This achievement is due to the strong cooperation between pilgrims, Indonesian Hajj officers, companies, and Saudi authorities in ensuring safe and smooth pilgrim movement,” he said.

Appreciation was also extended to all Indonesian Hajj officers who worked tirelessly to provide services, companionship, protection, and supervision for the pilgrims.

Details show that 135,367 pilgrims performed the sacrificial offering through the Adahi program, 53,506 through official Indonesian institutions, and 6,453 through fasting. Additionally, 4,084 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims opted for the Haji Ifrad scheme.

“This demonstrates high compliance among pilgrims in meeting ritual requirements, while supporting orderly, safe, and accountable management of sacrificial offerings,” Hasan explained.

Makkah’s weather remains hot, with pilgrims advised to drink plenty of water, eat regularly, rest adequately, and use head coverings or umbrellas when outdoors.

Hasan also reminded pilgrims not to overexert themselves in additional rituals if their health condition is not suitable.

Special attention is required for elderly pilgrims, those with disabilities, women, and those at high health risk.
