The Ministry of Finance has again received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) for its 2025 Financial Report. This marks the 15th consecutive WTP opinion achieved by the ministry. The opinion indicates that the presentation of the Ministry of Finance’s Financial Report is in accordance with Government Accounting Standards (SAP). It is supported by an adequate internal control system, resulting in a reliable, transparent, and accountable financial report. Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa stated that the ministry continues to strengthen the quality of financial reporting so it can serve as a sound basis for policy-making, increase public trust, and ensure the State Budget (APBN) remains an effective instrument for maintaining economic stability and supporting national development. He conveyed this during a working meeting with Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) in Jakarta on Tuesday. The minister emphasised that the Financial Report is not merely a presentation of revenue, expenditure, assets, and liabilities, but a depiction of how the APBN is managed prudently, transparently, and with an orientation towards results. As an institution with a strategic function in managing the APBN, the Ministry of Finance is committed to executing its mandate by prioritising the principles of transparency, accountability, value for money, and predictability. The report serves as a form of accountability to the public through the DPR, ensuring that every policy, every rupiah managed, and every programme implemented delivers tangible benefits to the community. In accordance with Law Number 17 of 2003 on State Finances and Law Number 1 of 2004 on the State Treasury, every minister or head of institution, as a Budget User, is required to prepare and submit a financial report as a form of accountability for state budget management. The 2025 Financial Report for Budget Section 015 was prepared based on the management of material transactions with a broad organisational scope, covering 14 echelon I units and 871 work units, including seven Public Service Agency (BLU) work units. The report consists of the Budget Realisation Report, Operational Report, Statement of Changes in Equity, Balance Sheet, and Notes to the Financial Statements, all prepared in accordance with SAP and supported by an adequate internal control system, having been reviewed by the Inspectorate General as the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus.
