The Ministry of Finance reported the results of the government bond auction (SUN) on Tuesday, 26 May 2026. Total investor bids reached Rp57.3 trillion, slightly up from the previous auction’s Rp51.39 trillion.

Nine bond series were offered. ‘The total nominal value awarded from the nine series was Rp36.85 trillion,’ according to an announcement on the Ministry of Finance’s Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management website, cited on Wednesday, 27 May 2026.

The auctioned bonds comprised short-term Treasury bills (Surat Perbendaharaan Negara, or SPN) and medium-to-long-term fixed-rate bonds (FR). The nine series included SPN12260702 (reopening), SPN03260831 (new issuance), SPN12270517 (reopening), FR0109 (reopening), FR0108 (reopening), FR0106 (reopening), FR0107 (reopening), FR0102 (reopening), and FR0105 (reopening).

The FR0109 series received the highest bids at Rp20.19 trillion. The weighted average yield for this series was 6.66981%, maturing on 15 March 2031. The government awarded Rp14.45 trillion for this series.

The auction had initially targeted Rp36 trillion, but the government reserves the right to adjust the issuance size up or down from the indicative amount, with a maximum of 150% of the target. In the previous auction on 12 May 2026, the Ministry of Finance raised Rp30.3 trillion from nine SUN series.

Government bond offerings form part of budget financing and to cover this year’s projected Rp689.1 trillion budget deficit. According to the 2026 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget Law (UU APBN No. 17 of 2025), debt financing is targeted at Rp832.2 trillion, an increase from last year’s Rp775.9 trillion.
