Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources appreciates Pertamina's efforts to secure energy supply during Eid
Jakarta — Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has expressed appreciation for PT Pertamina’s readiness to maintain the availability and smooth distribution of energy during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2026 period.
Laode Sulaeman, Director General of Oil and Gas at the Ministry of ESDM, stated that supplies of petroleum products, LPG, and crude oil are guaranteed to be available in sufficient quantities to meet public demand.
“Supply conditions for petroleum fuels, LPG, and crude oil are all guaranteed to be available in good condition. The public need not be concerned with the current situation,” said Laode in a statement issued in Jakarta on Saturday.
Prior to this, Laode visited PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Downstream Refinery Unit VI Balongan in Indramayu Regency, West Java, on Thursday (12 March). The visit was accompanied by Erika Retnowati, Chair of the National Task Force for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2026, Mars Ega Legowo Putra, Chief Executive of Pertamina Patra Niaga, and Didik Bahagia, Director of Refinery Operations at Pertamina Patra Niaga.
Pertamina has reactivated its Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force to support energy availability and smooth distribution during this period.
“I appreciate Pertamina’s efforts, which despite the current uncertain situation, continues to work maximally to meet public needs,” said Erika.
Mars Ega Legowo Putra, Chief Executive of Pertamina Patra Niaga, stated that the company is also preparing several additional services for the public during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force period.
“During the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force period, we are preparing various additional services,” said Ega.
Pertamina has prepared 427 petrol stations operating 24 hours a day, 2,180 LPG agents on standby, and 18 fuel service points and Pertamina Siaga Kiosks. The company is also deploying 52 mobile fuel delivery service points (Pertamina Delivery Service or PDS), 563 Bright Gas PDS agents, and 62 fuel tankers stationed at petrol stations.
Pertamina is additionally providing 11 Serambi MyPertamina facilities equipped with rest areas, mini clinics, children’s play areas, and vehicle assistance services for the public.
Ega added that Pertamina has prepared various support facilities and established command posts in every province that the public can contact if they encounter difficulties related to energy distribution.
“Each province has a command post and contact numbers that the public can call if they experience problems related to energy distribution,” said Ega.
Pertamina will continue to coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure the implementation of the 2026 Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force runs safely and in a controlled manner.
