Ministry of Defence Revises KDMP Manager Training After Five Deaths

The Ministry of Defence has changed the basic military training (latsarmil) programme for prospective managers of the Red and White Village Cooperatives (KDMP) into State Defence and Managerial Training. The change follows an evaluation after five latsarmil participants died. The new programme reduces the portion of physical activities and military training. It focuses on building discipline, character, leadership, teamwork, responsibility, national insight, and managerial readiness for participants as future cooperative managers.
