The Ministry of Defence (Kemhan) has released 2,019 civil servants (ASN) to participate in the Komponen Cadangan (Komcad) programme at six military education institutions (lemdik). These institutions are Rindam Jaya, Pasmar 1 Cilandak, Wingdik 500 Atang Senjaya, Pusdikkes Kramat Jati, Puskom Bela Negara Rumpin, and Halim Perdanakusuma. “This morning, we are entering the stage of continuing the selection process, which will be followed by military training known as Latsarmil. This is specifically for forming Komcad,” said the Head of the National Reserve Agency (Kabacadnas) of Kemhan, Lieutenant General Gabriel Lema, at Monas, Central Jakarta, on Monday (13/4). At these six lemdik, the thousands of ASN will undergo physical, psychological, and ideological mental data collection from 13 April to 17 April. The opening ceremony for the training will be held on 22 April at Lanud Halim Perdanakusuma, Jakarta. Gabriel explained that the Komcad training will last around one and a half months. He said Kemhan will hold Komcad training for the second wave of ASN in the middle of this year. “Then it has been planned for this year, 4,000 ASN will be prepared, whose education has been mapped out through two waves. Each wave 2,000. So after this first wave is completed, we will prepare another 2,000 in the middle of the year towards the end of the year,” he said. The Head of the Komcad Centre of the National Reserve Agency, Brigadier General Hengki Yuda, explained that these 2,019 ASN have passed the administrative checks and health examinations. During the health examination, some ASN did not pass the selection. “The number of participants who underwent health checks was 2,115 people, with 2,019 passing to the next selection. 96 did not pass,” said Hengki.
