The Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence, Lieutenant General Tri Budi Utomo, has stated that the graduates of the Indonesian Development Driver (SPPI) programme, who are prospective managers for the Merah Putih Cooperative, will serve for two years following their training. Speaking after the closing ceremony of the SPPI training at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in East Jakarta on Friday, Tri noted that these individuals will be assigned to specific duties on a part-time or fixed-term basis for approximately two years. He added that this two-year term will commence once they receive official assignments from the State-Owned Enterprise Management Agency (BP BUMN), which is expected to happen in the near future.

Simultaneously, the Director of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, Joao Angelo de Sousa Mota, explained that the SPPI graduates who have completed their training will be stationed in several already operational cooperatives. He noted that the deployment to these operational sites is expected to take place within the next two to three weeks. According to data, there are 33,758 SPPI members across Indonesia who have completed the training, comprising 28,626 prospective managers for the Merah Putih Village/Sub-district Cooperatives (KDKMP) and 5,159 prospective managers for the Merah Putih Fishermen Cooperatives (KNMP). The graduates passed after undergoing a one-and-a-half-month National Defence training programme at various TNI-owned training facilities, where they studied cooperative management, discipline, patriotism, and national defence to ensure they possess a high level of nationalism while performing their duties.
