Ministry of Defence Ensures 1,773 Civil Servants Ready to Undergo Komcad Training

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Defence (Kemhan) has ensured that 1,773 civil servants (ASN) are ready to undergo education as candidate reserve components (komcad) at six TNI educational sites. This was stated by the Head of the National Reserve Agency of the Ministry of Defence, Lieutenant General TNI Gabriel Lema, during the opening of the ASN komcad training ceremony at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, East Jakarta, on Wednesday. “We are inaugurating the opening of training for 1,773 candidate ASN komcad. This is only the first wave,” Gabriel said during a press conference. Gabriel explained that the ASN have undergone various selections, starting from health tests and ideological field tests, before participating in the komcad training. After the series of tests, the ASN will undergo basic military training (latsarmil) at six TNI facilities, including Pusdikkes, Skadik 301, Pusbahasa AU, Kodam Jaya, and Pasmari 1 Marinir Cilandak. They, continued Gabriel, will undergo training for one and a half months. Subsequently, they will be inaugurated in June 2026. During the komcad training, the ASN will receive various basic military materials, from shooting to materials related to strengthening the spirit of nationalism. Gabriel hopes that with this training, the ASN can have the same spirit of nationalism in carrying out their duties as state employees. Thus, he believes the ASN will provide their best performance in carrying out state duties.
