The State Defence training lasted for one and a half months at various Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) training facilities. Throughout the programme, participants studied cooperative management, discipline, patriotism, and state defence. The curriculum was designed to ensure that SPPI members possess high levels of nationalism and a patriotic spirit when undertaking their duties as managers for the Merah Putih Cooperatives.
