The distribution serves as an act of solidarity and an opportunity to enhance social awareness within the Ministry of Culture and surrounding communities.

In his speech, Fadli expressed the highest appreciation to all units within the Ministry of Culture and all parties involved in the 1447 AH Eid al-Adha sacrifice.

Fadli stated that Eid al-Adha is a moment to preserve the cultural roots of mutual cooperation and self-reflection for personal improvement.

‘Eid al-Adha is a significant commemoration, especially for Muslims, as it embodies sacrifice, sincerity, tolerance, social solidarity, and many values that have long been part of our culture,’ Fadli said in a written statement on Tuesday, 26 May 2026.

Fadli also stressed that the sacrifice is an expression of gratitude that strengthens the nation’s character.

‘The sacrifice also preserves tradition, reminding us of those in need, requiring support, assistance, mutual aid, and collaboration in various situations and hardships. These values and culture are among the most important aspects deeply rooted in our society,’ Fadli added.

The Eid al-Adha sacrifice at the Ministry of Culture involved all main units, work units, and Technical Implementation Units (UPT) of the ministry based in Jakarta.

The slaughter will take place on the first day of Tasyrik, 11 Dzulhijjah 1447 AH, in the afternoon, coinciding with Thursday, 28 May, at the Gudang Sapi Tangerang (GST) Farm Tigaraksa Animal Slaughterhouse in Tangerang Regency.

This year, the ministry distributed 23 Bali and Limousin cattle weighing between 300 and 600 kilograms each.

The total weight of the 23 sacrificial cattle is approximately 7.7 tonnes, with an estimated 4 tonnes of meat to be distributed. The meat will be packaged into 2kg portions.

The meat packages will be distributed to recipients, including Ministry of Culture employees in the Jabodetabek region, on the morning of 12 Dzulhijjah 1447 AH, coinciding with Friday, 29 May.

Fadli expressed his hope that Eid al-Adha would bring happiness, blessings, and strengthen social ties and community solidarity.

Indonesian society is encouraged to celebrate Eid al-Adha smoothly and share sacrificial meat with those in need.

The event was attended by Special Staff for Protocol and Household Affairs, Ministry of Culture Rachmanda Primayuda; Head of Bureau for State Property, Procurement of Goods and Services, and General Affairs Abi Kusno; Head of Bureau for Public Relations and Public Information Yayuk Sri Budi Rahayu; Secretary of the Directorate General of Cultural Preservation and Traditions Lita Rahmiati; Secretary of the Directorate General of Cultural Development, Utilization, and Empowerment Judi Wahjudin; Director of Cooperation Mardisontori; Secretary of the General Inspectorate Ali Nurudin; Inspector I Suaedi; and Inspector II Mohamad Hadad.
