Pledge Text for the 2026 Pancasila Sanctity Day Ceremony
With the Grace of God Almighty, we who perform this ceremony fully realise:
That since the proclamation of the Independence of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia on 17 August 1945, there have, in fact, been many attempts to undermine the Unitary State of the Indonesia from both within and outside the country;
That such attempts were made possible by the lack of vigilance of the Indonesian Nation towards activities attempting to exploit weaknesses and overthrow Pancasila as the State Ideology;
That with the spirit of togetherness based on the noble values of the Pancasila ideology, the Indonesian Nation remains able to strengthen the standing of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia;
Therefore, in the presence of God Almighty, in commemorating Pancasila Sanctity Day, we resolve to continue to defend and practise the values of Pancasila as the source of strength in fostering togetherness to fight for, uphold, truth and justice for the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
