Ministry of Creative Economy Explores Collaboration to Develop Young Talent
Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya has discussed opportunities for collaboration with the Pena Bangsa Creativity Foundation (YKPB) to strengthen the creative ecosystem through youth talent development in various regions. The collaboration will be realised in a Scale Up Project with cross-directorate programmes, ranging from creative village activation to creative hub activation, which can be carried out jointly with the Pena Bangsa Foundation. “Cross-sector collaboration is key to expanding access to talent development while strengthening the creative economy ecosystem across Indonesia,” he said in a statement received on Saturday. The Minister also expressed appreciation for YKPB’s contribution to building creative human resources. This initiative aligns with the ministry’s vision of becoming a new engine for national economic growth, starting from the regions. YKPB Patron Sandi Firdaus said the organisation carries the tagline ‘Profession to Passion’ to provide a space for young people to develop their creativity, talents, and competencies. “We are trying to do simple things that have a significant impact, showing how our profession can be useful and impactful through programmes for the community, especially in the regions,” Sandi said. He expressed hope that developing this collaboration with the Ministry of Creative Economy would create an inspiring and highly competitive young generation, particularly those capable of creating products.
