Ministry of Creative Economy Collaborates Easter with Education-Based Creativity
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Creative Economy is collaborating with the hospitality sector to present an innovative family Easter celebration infused with an educational approach and the creativity of local wisdom, serving as a synergy that strengthens the nation’s inclusive identity in the modern era.
“This is the strength of our creative economy, capable of transforming cultural heritage into engaging, educational experiences with added value,” said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy Irene Umar in a statement confirmed in Jakarta on Monday.
Irene, who attended the Easter Fair at The Dharmawangsa Jakarta on Sunday (5/4), provided a platform for the creative ecosystem that not only creates spaces of togetherness but is also effective in preserving national identity and providing economic added value for creative actors in the homeland.
The Ministry of Creative Economy reaffirmed its commitment to building inclusive cross-sector collaborations, where the Deputy Minister emphasised that such synergy is a crucial strategic step to strengthen national identity amid the rapid dynamics of the current modern era.
The Dharmawangsa Jakarta organised this event as a tangible commitment to supporting the development of the creative industry while preserving the rich traditions of the Archipelago for the wider community.
Various engaging activities were presented to liven up the event, from cooking and egg-decorating classes for children to a series of Nusantara culinary stalls for all visitors.
The event’s appeal was further enhanced by the presence of a Board Games Corner themed around traditional games, as well as various cultural workshops such as batik-making, shading, and aksara calligraphy. Visitors could also join a demonstration on concocting jamu with Acaraki, an initiative to preserve ancestral heritage for the current generation.
Through the spirit of Easter togetherness, the Ministry of Creative Economy views this activity as a successful platform for creative innovation that remains firmly rooted in noble values, while also serving as a key to strengthening the nation’s competitiveness in the future.
“We strive to present a celebration that not only entertains visually but also provides meaningful education for every family present, while strengthening the emotional bonds of society with the cultural heritage of Nusantara,” stated Siti Nuraisyah, Director of Sales and Marketing at The Dharmawangsa.
