Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Creative Economy (Ekraf) is presenting 10 flagship brands from the culinary and beverage subsector, based on Indonesia’s natural wealth and local culture, at the Café Brasserie Expo (CBE) 2026.

The Deputy for Cultural Creativity and Design of the Ministry of Ekraf, Yuke Sri Rahayu, stated that this participation is a step to broaden business networks and strengthen the position of Indonesian creative products in the global market.

“Indonesian beverage products are not merely commodities, but representations of culture, tradition, and innovation. We want to demonstrate that Indonesian creative products can compete in the global market with high added value,” said Yuke in her statement received in Jakarta on Saturday.

The strategic partners of the Ministry of Ekraf are Bumi Boga Laksmi and Ramoe.

According to her, all brands have undergone a curation process based on product quality, innovation, and export readiness.

This participation is also supported by the positive trend in exports of national beverage commodities, particularly Indonesian coffee.

Indonesia is one of the world’s largest coffee producers with premium varieties of Arabica and Robusta from Aceh to Papua.

The diversity of flavours and traditional cultivation practices are the strengths of Indonesian coffee in the markets of the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.

The distinctive taste profile makes Indonesian tea have a stable export market in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

The Ministry of Ekraf also sees significant opportunities from the global trend towards healthy lifestyles, which drives the growth of the fermented and probiotic beverage market.

Through participation in the Café Brasserie Expo 2026, the Ministry of Ekraf hopes to increase exposure for Indonesian products and open up international business transaction opportunities.

“The Ministry of Ekraf also continues to support business actors through strengthening production capacity, branding, and access to global markets,” she said.
