Ministry of Creative Economy and Folago Discuss Creator Monetisation Opportunities

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) is exploring collaboration with Folago Global Nusantara to strengthen creator talent development and the creative economy ecosystem through discussions on human resource capacity, ecosystem access expansion, and creator monetisation opportunities.

“Collaboration with partners like Folago is important to strengthen the creator ecosystem, including reaching remote areas and enhancing local talent capacity,” said Riefky in a statement received on Wednesday.

In the audience session, Riefky emphasised the importance of cross-sector collaboration to create quality jobs and position the creative economy as a new engine of economic growth.

In response to these opportunities, the Creative Economy Minister stressed the importance of selecting joint programmes that have an impact and can be implemented quickly.

“We need to focus on programmes that directly reach creators, for example through talent strengthening in academy programmes. From the eight Asta Ekraf sectors, we can see which ones can be worked on together, as the opportunities are wide open,” he explained.

All of this is designed to help participants develop themselves as professional creators. The programme also involves collaboration with universities, local communities, as well as promotional support through partner networks and digital platforms.

“Indonesia has enormous creator potential, but the challenge is how to convert that potential into real economic value. In line with government efforts, we are building Folago Academy to connect creators with the content production to distribution ecosystem,” said Subioto Jingga.

This audience opens up concrete cooperation opportunities between the Ministry of Creative Economy and Folago, with the aim of strengthening creator talent and delivering collaborative programmes that have a real impact on Indonesia’s creative economy ecosystem.
