The Ministry of Communication and Digital is strengthening oversight of the game rating system after suspicions arose regarding age classification errors on the Steam platform. Director of Digital Ecosystem Development at Kemkomdigi, Sonny Hendra Sudaryana, stated in Jakarta on Tuesday (7/4) that this step is intended to protect children from unsuitable content. The government is conducting investigations and coordinating with industry players. This effort is hoped to increase certainty and consumer protection.
