Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education is committed to ensuring the maximum utilization of Interactive Flat Panels (IFP)/Interactive Digital Boards (PID) in classrooms by organizing training webinars for teachers.

The initiative is part of efforts to accelerate digital transformation in education through the optimization of IFPs that have been distributed to schools.

Director General of Vocational Education, Special Education, and Special Services Education at the Ministry, Tatang Muttaqin, emphasized the importance of aligning technology with future needs in Jakarta on Sunday.

“Interactive Digital Boards must serve as a bridge for learning transformation that is relevant to future needs and the world of work,” he said.

Through the Self-Paced Training program on the GTK Rumah Pendidikan platform, his office encourages teachers to use IFPs not merely as technological devices but as pedagogical tools capable of delivering interactive, collaborative, and student-centered learning.

“Through this training, teachers can access materials flexibly through the GTK Rumah Pendidikan platform using their belajar.id accounts. The training materials cover an introduction to IFP features, interactive pedagogical strategies, and classroom implementation practices,” he said.

Director General of Teachers, Education Personnel, and Teacher Education, Nunuk Suryani, stressed that digital transformation depends on teachers’ readiness and willingness to keep learning.

“Educational transformation begins with teachers who are adaptive and committed to continuous learning. Technology will have an impact when it is used to deliver student-centered learning,” she said.

After completing all learning modules, she said, participants will receive a Certificate of Training Topic Completion as proof of participation and program completion.

She added that the training is designed with a primary focus on strengthening teacher competencies, deepening understanding of IFP utilization practices, and providing concrete steps that can be taken to create real impact in the classroom. Beyond mere administrative documentation, she said, the training emphasizes a shift in mindset and teaching practices that directly affect student learning.
