Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education Invites Public Support for Rumah Pendidikan and Bug Bounty Award

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) is inviting the public to support the super app Rumah Pendidikan and the Anugerah Bug Bounty programme, which have been nominated for the 2026 United Nations ITU WSIS Prizes. Secretary General of Kemendikdasmen, Suharti, explained that the two innovations have been nominated in category C7 (e-Government) and C5 (Building Confidence and Security in the Use of ICT), and are currently competing to enter the top five best (Champion Projects) out of a total of 20 global innovations in each category. The World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Prizes, she continued, is an annual award organised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a UN agency in the field of information and communication technology, since 2012 to appreciate digital innovations that impact sustainable development. This success in entering the nomination is, she said, an international recognition of Indonesia’s education digital transformation, while also aligning with Kemendikdasmen’s vision of providing responsive, accountable, serving, adaptive, and harmonious education services (RAMAH), and realising quality education for all. Suharti emphasised that every vote is very meaningful to take Indonesia’s innovations further on the global stage. In line with that, the Head of the Data and Information Technology Centre of Kemendikdasmen, Wibowo Mukti, conveyed that the public can provide support in the following ways.
