Primary School (SD) Inpres Noelbaki in Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT), has received revitalisation assistance worth more than Rp 3.8 billion from the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen). Education Minister Abdul Mu’ti detailed that the assistance will be used for constructing nine new classrooms, an administration room, toilets, teachers’ housing, rehabilitating the library, and environmental improvements including fence repairs and paving. “And for the school principal, on Monday, 11 May 2026, he has been called to Jakarta for training, and hopefully, God willing, a week later the funds will be disbursed and can be used,” said Abdul during his visit and groundbreaking ceremony in Kupang, accompanied by NTT Deputy Governor Johni Asadoma, on Tuesday (5/5/2026). According to Abdul, the construction is targeted to be completed in 150 days or five months. “So if it starts in May or June, then by October or November 2026 the construction will be finished and SD Inpres will be complete,” he stated. Abdul explained that SD Inpres Noelbaki is the first school to receive the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme. The school has also received an Interactive Flat Panel or Digital Interactive Board. “So with the complete package from the President, SD Inpres Noelbaki will become an outstanding SD Inpres and the children will achieve excellence in order to become the golden generation in 2045,” he clarified. Meanwhile, the Head of UPTD SD Inpres Noelbaki, Armada Anin, expressed his gratitude for the assistance received by the school. “On behalf of SD Inpres Noelbaki, we extend our sincere thanks to the Minister and his entourage for being here,” said Armada. Armada stated that the visit serves as motivation to improve educational quality. “We also convey our thanks to President Prabowo Subianto, and also to the Minister of Education for the MBG package, the digital interactive board, and the revitalisation package,” he concluded.
