Ministry of ATR/BPN accelerates land title transfer process to 10 days
The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) is accelerating land title transfer services to 10 days through a pilot project in several Land Offices starting in August 2024, aiming to provide time and legal certainty to the public.
“This is an effort from the Minister and our ministry to provide greater certainty in terms of time and legal certainty to the community,” said Deputy Minister of ATR/BPN, Ossy Dermawan, during the handover of Land Certificates for Regional Property Assets and Regional Owned Enterprise Assets in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, on Wednesday.
He noted that the implementation of the 10-day land title transfer service is still a work in progress and is being continuously developed. He expressed hope that its execution would proceed optimally with the support of regional heads and the general public.
“Time certainty in land services is essential to provide both certainty and satisfaction to the community as recipients of ATR/BPN services, particularly in the process of land title transfers, which has long been a core part of land service requirements,” he stated.
He expressed hope that this mechanism could produce decisions and solutions that not only resolve land issues comprehensively but also provide a direct impact on the community regarding land disputes, conflicts, or legal matters.
On this occasion, he also conveyed his appreciation to the Chairperson and all members of Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) for their continuous supervisory functions and for providing views, input, and constructive criticism to the Ministry of ATR/BPN.
Deputy Minister Ossy hopes that the oversight and input from Commission II of the DPR RI will assist the Ministry of ATR/BPN in providing the best possible service, particularly to the public, ensuring that land and spatial planning services contribute to the maximum prosperity of the people, the nation, and the state.
