Ministers join fun bike

JAKARTA (JP): Three cabinet ministers will pedal their way
around the capital along with approximately 10,000 participants
in a noncompetitive "fun" bike race held to boost the national
energy saving campaign this Sunday.

Minister of Information Harmoko, Minister of Mines and Energy
Ida Bagus Sudjana and Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Hayono
Isman are expected to lead the cycling festival organized by the
Sadar Energi (Energy Awareness) Foundation.

"Through the fun bike race, we call for the stoppage of
inefficient energy use in industry, transportation and households
throughout the country," committee chairman Hasbi Armia said.
