Minister Yusril: KPK Does Not Yet Need to Take Over Febrie Case
Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra has assessed that the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) does not yet need to take over the investigation into an alleged corruption case implicating former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes Febrie Adriansyah from the Attorney General’s Office. Speaking after a plenary cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Monday, he called on all parties to give the Attorney General’s Office the opportunity to carry out the investigation, provided it is done professionally and transparently.
