Minister Rosan's Explanation on LG Reportedly Withdrawing from Investment in Indonesia

Investment Minister and Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, has assured that LG Energy Solution is still investing in Indonesia. This comes in response to reports circulating about the South Korean company potentially withdrawing its investments. According to Rosan, LG continues to develop its battery projects in the country as part of broader industrial downstreaming initiatives. He emphasised the positive outlook for foreign direct investment, highlighting ongoing collaborations with international partners in key sectors like energy and manufacturing. The minister’s comments aim to dispel rumours and reinforce Indonesia’s attractiveness as an investment destination.
