Minister: 'Pasti Ada Solusi' Programme Draws WIPO's Attention

Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas has stated that the ‘Pasti Ada Solusi’ (There Is Definitely a Solution) programme has drawn the attention of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). He noted that during his participation in an ongoing WIPO agenda in Geneva, Switzerland, WIPO Director General Daren Tang specifically mentioned the programme. ‘Apparently, he has been following it closely,’ Supratman said while participating online in the Pasti Ada Solusi programme in Jakarta on Friday. Supratman assured that all complaints submitted through the programme would be resolved immediately. However, if a complaint requires verification or more time, he said it would still be resolved within the shortest possible deadline. For complaints that take time to resolve, he expressed hope that his staff would provide a written response to the complainant regarding the expected resolution timeline. He emphasised that the programme is not merely about the Ministry of Law listening, but about ensuring that all Indonesians receive certainty regarding matters they expect the ministry to resolve according to its main duties and functions. Supratman clarified that the ministry would only resolve complaints related to its own duties and functions, while for other complaints, it would facilitate forwarding them to the relevant ministries or agencies. He explained that President Prabowo desires a government bureaucracy that serves and provides certainty. He also thanked the public for their support and commitment to the Ministry of Law in delivering services. The Pasti Ada Solusi programme is an open dialogue space initiated by the Ministry of Law as a platform for the public to transparently convey complaints, aspirations, and reports concerning public services. Guided directly by the Minister of Law, the programme allows the public to monitor the follow-up of their reports to ensure a definite resolution.
