Minister of Transportation Accelerates Transport Repairs in Disaster-Affected Areas

Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi has ensured that the acceleration of repairs for transportation facilities affected by earthquakes in East Nusa Tenggara is being implemented gradually. This is intended to restore connectivity and services to ease logistics distribution within the impacted areas.

This statement was made following a meeting during a Maulid Nabi commemoration event held with Gojek driver partners, which also included the departure of 70 long-standing Gojek driver partners set to depart for the holy land to perform Umrah on 2 September.

This free Umrah initiative is part of the expansion of the Partner Appreciation Programme (PAM). Since its launch, PAM has continuously provided operational support, social protection, and family welfare. Benefits include BPJS Health and BPJS Employment insurance, Eid bonuses, educational scholarships for children, school supplies, self-reliance points, internet quota subsidies, and various forms of partner contribution awards.

The free Umrah trip is provided as a form of appreciation from GoTo to legendary driver partners who have been with the company since 2010.

On the same occasion, the Minister of Transportation also provided an update regarding several transportation facilities damaged by disasters in East Nusa Tenggara and Kalimantan, which are undergoing continuous repairs to restore public service functions.
