Minister of Public Works: Task Force Acceleration to Speed Up People's School Phase II

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Minister of Public Works (PU), Dody Hanggodo, has revealed the establishment of a Task Force for Acceleration to speed up the construction of People’s School Phase II. “To accelerate it, so that it is completed in June this year,” Dody stated in Jakarta on Wednesday. Dody said that all elements within the Ministry of Public Works are involved in the Task Force for Acceleration for the construction of People’s School Phase II. “All of them! So, the People’s School at PU is now not only handled by the Directorate General of Strategic Infrastructure, but all. All directorate generals in the Ministry of Public Works are involved, starting from the Directorate General of Highways, Directorate General of Human Settlements, Directorate General of Water Resources, all are involved,” he said. “Actually, it is not just a government priority programme, but (the People’s School is) for poverty alleviation,” he added. Dody is optimistic that the construction of People’s School Phase II can be completed in June this year. “Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, I must say it will be completed,” he said. For information, to ensure the completion target is achieved on schedule, the Ministry of Public Works has formed a Task Force for Acceleration involving the Directorate General of Human Settlements, the Directorate General of Strategic Infrastructure, and all related parties in the implementation of the construction.
