Minister of Manpower, Yassierli, stated that his ministry has received a letter from the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) regarding efficiency measures. The Ministry of Manpower is currently examining its budget ceiling to adjust in line with these efficiency requirements.

This was conveyed by Yassierli during a working meeting with Commission IX of the DPR at the parliamentary complex in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (9/4/2026). Yassierli noted that the efficiency letter from Kemenkeu was only received on 1 April 2026.

“We also wish to convey that we have just received a letter from the Ministry of Finance dated 1 April stating that there is budget efficiency sourced from pure rupiah funds,” said Yassierli during the meeting.

He mentioned a reallocation from the General Treasurer’s Budget Section (BA BUN) of Kemenkeu amounting to Rp 181,826,183,000 (Rp 181.8 billion). This amount consists of Special Output Details (RO) of Rp 122,163,948,000 (Rp 122.1 billion) and the results of budget efficiency identification conducted by Kemenkeu of Rp 59,662,235,000 (Rp 59.6 billion).

“The reallocation from BA BUN Kemenkeu is Rp 181 billion in budget from special RO of Rp 122 billion and efficiency identification results by Kemenkeu of Rp 59 billion,” stated Yassierli.

“We are still in the process of examining in more detail the items that we can then make efficient. Therefore, we cannot report it now, so the budget ceiling we presented earlier is still the pre-efficiency ceiling for phase III from Kemenkeu,” he said.

In Yassierli’s presentation, the Kemenkeu budget ceiling for 2026 is Rp 5,999,626,039,000 (trillion). He stated that budget realisation as of 8 April 2026 has reached 31.87 percent.

“As of 8 April, we wish to report that the realisation of the budget is currently averaging 31.87 percent for each echelon I unit, with the reservation that this realisation does not yet account for the phase III efficiency that we have just received from Kemenkeu,” said Yassierli.

“And there are some budget ceilings that cannot be used, which are reserves for special RO, and there is also a block of approximately Rp 265 billion,” he added.
