The Minister of Law, Supratman Andi Agtas, stated that the majority of complaints submitted through the ‘Pasti Ada Solusi’ programme are resolved immediately.

“Except for those that require time, such as those needing inspections. However, everything that can be followed up is certainly resolved on the same day,” Supratman said when met after the ‘Pasti Ada Solusi’ event in Jakarta on Friday.

He cited several complaints that require longer resolution periods, such as cases necessitating notary examinations. Despite the time required for such matters, the Minister of Law emphasised that he continues to demand certainty from the relevant directors and directors-general regarding the timeframe for completion.

Led directly by the Minister of Law, the programme serves as a platform to accommodate aspirations, feedback, and the resolution of complaints related to legal and administrative services.

To date, the programme has been held for five episodes. Supratman revealed that a large number of complaints are submitted by the public during each episode.

Specifically for the fifth episode, he noted that there were 180 complaints, dominated by services within the Directorate General of General Legal Administration (AHU) and the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (KI).

“This can be seen, particularly regarding notaries. Then there is copyright; indeed, among the 520 public services within the Ministry of Law, these two directorates-general account for the highest volume,” he explained.

He noted that these issues have been addressed through joint decisions during the ‘Pasti Ada Solusi’ activities from the first to the fourth episodes.

“Therefore, if there are similar cases, I hope they can be resolved as soon as possible,” Supratman said during the event in Jakarta on Friday.

He issued these directives specifically to the Director General of Intellectual Property, the Director of Civil Affairs at the Directorate General of AHU, and the Director of Constitutional Law at the Directorate General of AHU.

The Minister of Law stated that cases reported during the ‘Pasti Ada Solusi’ sessions should serve as a reference for resolving subsequent cases that tend to share similarities. He requested that his subordinates pay close attention to this so that public enquiries do not need to be repeated, but can instead be executed directly.
