Minister of Law emphasises the importance of responsive legal services oriented towards public needs
Manado — Indonesia’s Minister of Law, Supratman Andi Agtas, visited the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law in North Sulawesi and emphasised the importance of legal services that are responsive and oriented towards meeting public needs.
“The importance of legal services that are responsive and oriented towards the needs of society,” stated Minister Supratman Andi Agtas in Manado on Friday.
According to the Minister, legal services must be increasingly accessible and provide certainty to the public, whilst the North Sulawesi Regional Office staff are expected to continue maintaining integrity and professionalism.
The Minister hopes that the visit will strengthen the spirit of collaboration and the commitment of all employees in supporting the implementation of the duties and functions of the Ministry of Law, particularly in providing quality legal services to the people of North Sulawesi.
During the working visit, the Minister of Law inspected various facilities and service spaces, including public service areas and operational support infrastructure.
The Minister of Law also held brief discussions with service officers to directly observe the condition of services and the readiness of staff in carrying out legal duties.
The arrival of the Minister of Law was welcomed by Regional Office Head Hendrik Pagiling, Head of Legal Services Division Marsono, Head of Legislation and Legal Development Division Apri Listiyanto, and their staff.
Hendrik conveyed the commitment of all North Sulawesi Regional Office staff to continue carrying out duties and functions professionally and to support the policies of the Ministry of Law.
“We extend a warm welcome to the Minister of Law at our Regional Office in North Sulawesi. This visit serves as motivation for us to continue improving the quality of service to the public,” said Hendrik.
During the visit, the Minister of Law was accompanied by the Head of the National Legal Development Agency (BPHN), Min Usihen, Head of the Legal Culture and Aid Centre of BPHN, Constantinus Kristomo, and Special Staff Yadi Hendriana.
