Minister of Law Addresses Surabaya Residents' Grievances via 'Pasti Ada Solusi' Programme

Alhamdulillah, all complaints today have been extraordinary, very diverse, and very numerous.

Surabaya (ANTARA) - Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas addressed the grievances of Surabaya residents through the ‘Pasti Ada Solusi’ (There is Always a Solution) programme at the East Java Regional Office of the Ministry of Law on Friday.

“Alhamdulillah, all complaints today have been extraordinary, very diverse, and very numerous,” said Supratman after receiving complaints from residents in Surabaya on Friday.

He stated that some of the residents’ issues could be resolved directly during the meeting, while other complaints require further follow-up processes.

“This represents a form of openness regarding how bureaucracy must be transformed and how we serve the community,” he said.

“Therefore, please pray for the Ministry of Law and simultaneously monitor us; provide us with feedback regarding anything you find unsatisfactory in the services we provide. We are very open to self-correction based on everyone’s input,” he added.

He noted that the programme is held every Friday, and the activity in Surabaya marks its 17th episode.

“I attend all of them. If I can be there in person, I will. If I happen to be out of town or on official duty, I will certainly join via Zoom,” he said.

Supratman mentioned that the Ministry of Law manages approximately 470 public services accessible to the community.

“There are a total of 470 public services within the Ministry of Law,” he said.

The ‘Pasti Ada Solusi’ programme serves as a forum for the public to directly submit complaints, suggestions, and issues related to the Ministry of Law’s services so that they can be followed up according to the relevant authority.

A day earlier, Supratman conducted a working visit to Surabaya, participating in activities alongside the academic community of Airlangga University and the University of Surabaya.
