The Minister of Immigration and Correctional Services, Agus Andrianto, has responded to an open letter from artist Sujiwo Tejo regarding a humorous experience with immigration services. Minister Agus has requested that Sujiwo Tejo send details regarding the immigration officer who questioned the age of the ‘President Jancukers’.

“Thank you for your appreciation, Sir,” wrote Minister Agus, as seen in the comment section of Sujiwo Tejo’s post on Thursday (3/9/2026).

Minister Agus invited Sujiwo Tejo to provide information regarding the female immigration officer wearing a hijab, as mentioned in the letter. “Please kindly inform us about the employee concerned via DM (Instagram direct message feature),” continued the former Deputy Chief of National Police.

A number of netizens left comments for Minister Agus, with some offering praise and others making jokes.

“@agusandriably.id Wow, responded to immediately, great,” wrote Instagram user sigithari.

“@agusandrianto.id Perhaps that officer’s inner eye was open, so you appeared young, Sir,” joked account sunarbawono.

“@agusandrianto the lady officer will be nervous immediately,” said nita_june.

Previously, it was reported that Sujiwo Tejo sent an open letter via his Instagram account to the Minister of Immigration and Correctional Services, Agus Andrianto. The open letter concerned his humorous experience while processing a passport.

“An open letter to the Minister of Immigration and Correctional Services, General Agus Andrianto (Ret.). With respect, I request that you give the highest appreciation to the officers at the Plaza Bintaro Immigration Passport Service Unit for the incident I experienced yesterday,” wrote Sujiwo Tejo, as seen on the Instagram account @president_jancukers.

He stated that in the morning, he observed a long queue of applicants for immigration documents at the Plaza Bintaro Immigration Passport Service Unit. He then heard an immigration officer announce that elderly applicants did not need to queue.

Feeling that he fell into the elderly category, Sujiwo Tejo followed the officer’s instructions. He was accompanied by approximately 10 other elderly individuals at the time. However, he was suddenly intercepted by an officer.

“When it was my turn, I was intercepted by that officer. ‘Are you elderly, Sir?’ she asked with a look of astonishment, requesting my ID card to check my age,” Sujiwo Tejo recounted.

The officer’s question unexpectedly amused the 64-year-old Sujiwo Tejo. He requested that the officer—who ‘indirectly complimented his youthful appearance’ and was friendly—be given an award by Minister Agus.

“MashAllah… Imagine, Sir, all the ‘jancukers’ say that I am already ‘smelling of the earth’ (near death). In fact, when I post, they think I am strange, some say, ‘This is what happens when old people hold a phone!’” revealed Sujiwo Tejo.
