During the visit, President Prabowo is scheduled to hold a state meeting with Emperor Naruhito of Japan as well as bilateral meetings with the Japanese Government in Tokyo. “The meeting is expected to become a strategic momentum to strengthen cooperation in various fields. There are several cooperations in the fields of investment, energy, maritime, and digital,” said Teddy. The visit is part of Indonesia’s diplomacy to strengthen its strategic position in the East Asia region. In addition to Bahlil, Foreign Minister Sugiono and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya also accompanied President Prabowo on the visit.
