Minister of Cooperatives and TNI Deputy Commander Inspect Operational Readiness of Red and White Village/Urban Ward Cooperative in Banyumas
Banyumas (ANTARA) - Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono, along with Deputy Commander of the TNI General TNI Tandyo Budi Revita, inspected the operational readiness of the Red and White Village/Urban Ward Cooperative (KDKMP) in Banyumas Regency, Central Java, ahead of its national inauguration on 16 May 2026.
The inspection and review were carried out at the Red and White Village Cooperative (KDMP) in Kaliori Village, Kalibagor Subdistrict, Banyumas, on Wednesday, and were followed virtually by KDKMP from several regencies/cities in Central Java.
The review was conducted to ensure that all technical aspects, supporting facilities, and human resource readiness at the pilot site align with the government’s targets before its inauguration by President Prabowo Subianto.
During the inspection, the Minister of Cooperatives and the Deputy Commander of the TNI had the opportunity to hear presentations from the Commander of the Military District Command (Dandim) 0701/Banyumas, Dandim 0705/Magelang, and Dandim 0708/Purworejo regarding the operational readiness of KDKMP in their respective areas.
“First, ensure the number of people to be served. Remap the points with a sufficient number of residents, then adjust to the needs on the ground so that government services to the public can be optimal,” he said.
He also requested that all supporting devices, including service kiosks, warehouses, and digital infrastructure to support cooperative operations, be ensured ready for use.
In addition, he gave special attention to the readiness of the internet network, which will be one of the main supports for the digital-based cooperative service system.
“Ensure again the items and quantities at each point. Tomorrow there is a plan for an internet access trial, please make good use of it so that everything is truly ready,” said Tandyo.
