Minister of Cooperatives and Deputy TNI Commander Strengthen KDKMP Operational Readiness

Present at the visit were the President Director of Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, Joao Angelo De Sousa Mota, the Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Food Affairs, Kasan, the Director General of Village Governance Development from the Ministry of Home Affairs, La Ode Ahmad P. Bolombo, the Regent of Bojonegoro, Setyo Wahono, and the Regent of Blora, Arief Rohman.

The inspection aimed to ensure the readiness of KDKMP as it enters the operationalisation phase. “The operationalisation phase of KDKMP is not a light task, thus requiring unity and solidarity from all parties,” the Minister of Cooperatives stated in a written remark on Tuesday (12/5/2026).

The Minister emphasised that all parties must be confident that the President’s vision of building the village economy through cooperatives can be realised with cooperation and the spirit of gotong royong.

“We have successfully formed the legal entity for KDKMP through special village deliberations, followed by physical development, outlets, and warehousing, and now we are entering the operational stage,” the Minister said.

The government plans to soon launch the operational readiness in stages, starting with the launch of 1,061 KDKMP units in Central Java and East Java.

The Deputy Commander of the TNI, during the inspection, also coordinated with the District Military Commanders to ensure preparations for KDKMP operationalisation. He urged all parties to collaborate and evaluate various shortcomings so that when entering the operational phase, KDKMP can run effectively.

The Regent of Bojonegoro also affirmed support for the implementation of the government programme. “We are ready to support and continue coordination to succeed the national programme, especially KDKMP,” said the Regent of Bojonegoro.
