Minister of Communications and Digital Meutya Hafid Suddenly Visits Facebook Office, What's Going On?

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Minister of Communications and Digital (Komdigi) Meutya Hafid, together with her aides, visited the headquarters of Facebook’s parent company, Meta, on Wednesday afternoon (4 March 2026). According to CNBC Indonesia’s observations, Meutya, accompanied by Director General for Digital Space Oversight Alexander Sabar and a delegation, were seen arriving at around 15:20 WIB at an office building in the South Jakarta area. No statements were given by either Meutya or Alex. The two, along with their entourage, went straight into the building. From sources we have obtained, the building houses Meta Indonesia’s local representation. As of this report, the meeting was still ongoing.
