Jakarta — Communications and Digital Minister Meutya Hafid has reminded all staff of the Ministry of Communication and Digital to maintain performance whilst working from anywhere (Work From Anywhere/WFA), a flexible work policy being introduced ahead of Lebaran 2026.

At a discussion and briefing event themed “Connected in Kinship, Growing in Faith, Maintained in Piety” held in Central Jakarta on Friday 13 March, she emphasised that work flexibility must not reduce the quality of public services.

“Even though we are entering the work from anywhere period after this, everyone must still contribute,” Meutya said, as quoted in a ministry statement confirmed on Saturday.

She highlighted the importance of the Ministry of Communication and Digital’s readiness in overseeing implementation of Government Regulation No. 17 of 2025 concerning the Governance of Electronic System Operations in Child Protection (PP TUNAS) from 28 March 2026.

“We have a major programme towards that date for implementing PP TUNAS, which delays children from entering digital platforms until they are of sufficient age,” she said.

She invited all ministry staff to participate in socialising PP TUNAS to families in their home regions.

“You may meet with family members when returning home for the holidays, so please communicate this to them,” Meutya said.

“Please convey my greetings to your families. Hopefully this Ramadan will be a blessing for everyone,” she added.
